Lucky Star is great "Chinese" !
After getting home from work, my wife and I chose to order takeout from Lucky Star. I ordered the Szechuan Chicken (medium spicy) combination dish and she ordered the Pepper Steak w/ Onion. After the first bite of the Szechuan Chicken, I experienced a burst of flavor packed into the sauce. Delicious! The wok and cooking method used behind the scenes, adds a welcoming "smoky" flavor to their entrees as well.
My wife and I enjoyed the takeout very much and will be ordering from Lucky Star again. It is not the very best Chinese food I've had, but it ranks in my top 10!!! -

I think the food is very good for the price. As far as Wilmington Chinese delivery food, it's one of the best options. Their family deals are hard to beat and it always arrives quickly and hot. The downside is I find it to be super inconsistent. Sometimes the egg drop soup is okay, sometimes terrible. I've also been delivered the wrong item or the smaller size when I've paid for the large. It's not a huge thing in the grand scheme of life, just a little frustrating.
Overall I'm sure I'll order from them again, I'm just hoping for a little more consistency. -

Really good Chinese food that delivers, what's more perfect than that? I got orange chicken, sesame chicken, lo mein, and fried dumplings that was yummy. Will order again.

We got delivery food from here last night and it was just underwhelming. The best part is how easy it is to order over the phone. And the delivery was as estimated. However, the crab Rangoon's didn't have much filling at all. Maybe a teaspoon. Which was so disappointing because the filling tasted pretty good. My friend enjoyed her chicken and broccoli. But my general Tsos chicken was more
Breading than chicken. And the sauce had an odd flavor to it. With the number of takeout places available I will probably go elsewhere next time. -

Is it gourmet? Of course not. Is it good, tasty, plentiful delivery Chinese food, which arrives promptly and efficiently, through an online ordering system that works perfectly? That it sure is. If you, dear reader, are like I was, insane with hunger and wanting tasty American Chinese food delivered briskly to your door with little to no effort on your part, then this is the right choice for you.
I had worked late and was desperately craving good Chinese takeout food, but had never ordered in this area before and was overwhelmed by the options. I'm so glad I chose this one. I went with the moo shu pork, which is my standard, plus an egg roll.
I ate a quarter of the moo shu pork before I even sat down, it tasted that good. Admittedly, I was also very, very hungry, but STILL. Compared to the last place I ordered moo shu, it was heaven. There's a TON of it in there, too. I ate enough to fill all 5 (somewhat oddly rectangular) pancakes/wraps that came with the order, and was stuffed, but still had enough (plus the rice) for two more decently sized meals. So it's cost-efficient to boot!
